Powder Brow Pre Care/ After Care

PRE CARE

  • If you use Botox, use it 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after the procedure.
  • If you use fillers, use it 6 weeks prior or 6 weeks after the procedure.
  • If you are on Latisse, or any hair growth serums you must stop using it 2 weeks prior to procedure.
  • Must be off Accutane for 1 year! No exceptions.
  • Must be off retinol, retin A or any products containing retinol for 7 days prior to procedure. You can continue these 30 days after procedure if you have to, but must avoid forehead and brows. This will help preserve the color and integrity of the brows.
  • If you get your eyebrows tinted or waxed do that 3 days prior to procedure, no sooner.
  • Do not take Asprin, Niacin, Vitamin E and or Ibuprofen for 48-72 hours prior to procedure unless medically necessary. Tylenol is fine.
  • No caffeine day of procedure. NO COFFEE.
  • No alcohol day of or day before procedure.
  • No sweating day of procedure. No brisk walks. No working out. Nothing that will make you sweat or get blood flowing. This will cause more bleeding and oozing during procedure which will cause the pigment not to take to brows.
  • No tanning prior to procedure.
  • If there are any blemishes, cold sores, moles or any skin irritations on the brows I will not preform the procedure.
  • Please let me know of any and all medications you are on.

AFTER CARE

(Wash hands well before touching brows for after are treatment)

  • 30 minutes after procedure blot with clean damp paper towel every 30 minutes to avoid lymph build up.
  • Bedtime that night of procedure blot again with damp paper towel and apply after care ointment given by me. Apply a rice size amount to both eyebrows. Do not glob it on this will cause pigment loss.
  • Every morning and night for the next 10 days blot with clean damp paper towel and apply rice size amount of after care ointment.
  • Do not get brows wet for 10 days

Schedule a blow out or two at your salon. If you happen to get them wet in the shower blot carefully with clean dry paper towel ASAP.
  • No makeup, lotions concealer anything on brows for 10-14 days. Make sure they are healed and no more flaking or scabs.
